We live on a boat!

Hello, hello! 🤗

After five years of preparation and many more years of dreaming: We live on a boat!

In 2016, we decided to sail the world (well, not the whole world, but part). Two years later, we got our "Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting" and found a boat. And here we are, in Greece, ready to hoist the sail.

Okay, that was a bit too euphoric. The boat is not yet rigged. It is not even in the water! 😄 We have lots of work to do: Sanding and painting the hull, installing new batteries and the water maker, change the autopilot, replace solar panels, service the engine, treat the teak deck, and much more.

Even if the boat is on dry dock, we live on it, climbing up and down the ladder countless times a day. It's not the same as a beautiful bay, of course – but it certainly has its charm (for now). 🙃
